Olmstead’s H.O.P.E.

OLMSTEAD’S H.O.P.E – Help Our Paws and People Everywhere!

H.O.P.E came alive after we rescued the dying Bonbon kitten in Istanbul in 2020; Olmstead ignited the dream a few months later in the Bronx, NYC.

Olmstead was rescued by Carmen and Little Wanderers NYC on Olmstead Avenue in the Bronx. With a huge list of medical problems from A to Z and so sick in her yard, the journey began.

Driven and inspired by this Bronxy boy, Olmstead showed us what kindness and love can do. Donations and so much love came in from our social media posts, connecting many of us globally. It’s amazing how many hearts were touched. Olmstead changed many lives, especially mine and Kate’s, and we were blessed to be his mommies in the US, serving as his caregivers and nurses.

In many countries, there is lots of misery and suffering, and all are doing their best to help. However, it’s beyond hard to witness; walking away means being a part of this suffering. God willing, we are part of Olmstead’s H.O.P.E from the Bronx to Istanbul, with headquarters in Arnavutköy, Istanbul, Turkey.

We have a small kitty pension and rescue. It operates 24/7, especially in rural areas where life is horrendous for many animals, with sickness, starvation, disease, and constant reproduction leading to more misery.

Disabled, seniors, pregnant mummies and babies left to the elements and vulnerable to all. No winter or summer shelters, they die of many things suffering. We work on donations,we all work too and use our own funds,we are full time volunteers. We have foster programs for people that host one or two cats, little kitty families and desperately in need animals.

Our donations help us to support the animals and people in need too. We are available to support all the time. Life is hard for so many.

The families/people are our eyes and ears, they learn about animal care, it gives them a purpose, it’s incredible how much a little saves lives and changes them too.

TNR-Trap nuerter and return is the answer to so much, sterilisation programmes.
