Adoptions Abroad USA & Europe

Make Your Difference

Ready to go (USA needs flight volunteers and 4 weeks to get ready). Microchip, rabies vaccination, papers stamped by a vet, health certificate, and export papers from the tarim office. We can provide all care and guidance from the streets to their special human.

For Europe, it takes 3-4 months once paperwork, rabies vaccine, and passport have passed all requirements. We need flight volunteers or pet taxis from – to the UK if flying into Paris and Amsterdam. All adopters pay for transportation/flight and procedures if not already done. Don’t worry; the clinics are a fraction of the costs compared to the UK or US. We help every step of the way, with English, Turkish, Arabic, and Russian spoken.

We have a mixed bunch of lovely purrs, from kittens (must be a minimum of 4/5 months to fly), seniors, tripods, blind kitties, shelter furries, grandpa, siblings, and all beautiful babies needing what they deserve ♡ Go to our gallery to start up to see and adopt your special one. We have so many looking for homes; we haven’t added all yet but will continue to do so. We will update all the time. Please email us too; one of the team will send more information if you’re looking.

If you cannot adopt or foster, please sponsor or donate whatever you can for us to continue our life-saving work. Thank you so much.

New adoptions available ♡ Adopt don’t shop!

♡ Hüsnü

He’s around 2-3 years old, male, healthy, sterilized, calm, well-mannered, and good with people and other cats. A beautiful, gentle soul. Vaccination history is not known except for rabies vaccine. We can prepare everything for the right adoption.

His story: the owner passed away due to illness. The daughters of the lady didn’t want to keep Hüsnü, and he was sadly released onto the streets. Hüsnü was very upset and scared. He cried to enter the apartment many times, and he was kicked by neighbors and received threats. He has been taken into a cat pension. We have prepared the titration process. He is ready to travel to a loving home in the EU.

♡ Sultan

Sultan is 8-9 months old, and she has given birth to her babies. This precious girl gave birth to 4 babies in a car park of a private school. People complained, and a cruel person put them in a nylon bag to throw them in the forest. Our rescuers came just in time and took this scared cat family to safety. How barbaric to think this is okay. Sultan is still nervous and unable to relax. She is going to be sterilized in 2 months’ time after the babies are done breastfeeding. We would like to find good homes for these 4 beauties and their mommy. We can provide updates on the kittens’ genders and health and handle all preparations. Sultan and these angels are the lucky ones. Without intervention, they all would have perished from intentional cruelty. We deal with this constantly.

♡ Nevaro

Nevaro is still a little puppy in Nevşehir, a city known to be cruel against cats and dogs. He and his brother were dumped at the highway to die. This thought is so traumatizing. Innocent lives thrown to perish on the busy highway. His brother was killed, and Nevaro was wounded. He received treatment at a clinic and was transferred to Istanbul. He is 3 months old, male, a scared and sad little boy. He is looking for a home, a loving family of his own. This beautiful boy deserves so much more. We can prepare and guide everything for the right home.

♡ Ice

Beautiful Ice is one year old, male, and not neutered yet (work in progress). He is vaccinated against rabies, has a friendly character, and has no problems with other dogs, people, or children. He would be a great addition to a family or to a home already with other dogs. He was left at a shelter in Ayvacık/Çanakkale, and his ear was cut off, most probably intended for a shepherd dog. Will you give this boy a loving, secure home of his own? We will help with everything to get him to you. He’s a perfect boy to adopt, full of love.

♡ Melvin

Meet delicate flower Melvin. She breaks my heart. She’s 5 years old and female. The owner kept her in a cage and did not feed her properly. Why would someone do this? She’s so malnourished (maximum 2kg), a Persian cat. The cruel owner then dumped her at the end of the street next to the trash bin with her carrier. She was very scared and traumatized. I will never understand humans who do something like this. We don’t know her medical or vaccination history. She is good with other cats, with a calm and beautiful personality. She is sterilized. Melvin would bring peace and love into any household with her angelic personality. She is also happy to share with other kitties. Please, is there anyone who also appreciates the calmness and love of this girl? We can help with everything for the right home.

♡ Duman

Hello to Duman, he’s eight months old, male, not neutered yet, a friendly cat with no issues with other cats. Such a beautiful prince! The owner dumped him with reasons unknown to us but thought it was okay just to walk away. She said it was too expensive to take care of cats. Some breeders were chasing this beauty. We took him under our protection. A Scottish Fold that would brighten up anyone’s day with kitty talk and love. Get in touch if this is your boy!

Adopted

♡ Tiger Lily -Female-Istanbul

The tiniest baby from a litter of five siblings, aged eight weeks. She was rescued when her mum was heavily pregnant from the trash during torrential storms. She is such a cute little one; her purrs are loud, just like her meow. Strong and adventurous, yet delicate and sweet, she will hypnotize you. So beautiful, she loves her humans.

Adopted

♡ Sunshine-Male-Istanbul

Istanbul is such a love bug—fluffy and red, one of five siblings, eight weeks old, all rescued from near death in the floods. Very good with medication and patient, gentle, and playful with that fluffy face. We could eat them for breakfast.

Adopted

♡ Captain Sparrow Istanbul

This adventurous, gorgeous boy was found with another tiny kitten, almost treated as child’s play and dog food. He is approximately ten months old. In a terrible state, they both spent three weeks in the hospital. Captain is the most beautiful boy; he loves to play, can jump six feet high, eats everything, and is a mommy’s boy. So strong, like a lion, we love him so much.

Adopted

♡ Moon Bean Istanbul

Rescued off the streets with a belly full of worms and terrible skin, she is approximately nine months old. She was so tiny, yet still purred so loudly once we picked her up. She spent four weeks in the hospital and receiving care; we almost lost her. Now, she will affectionately bite your nose, purr like a rocket, and has these bright green eyes that lock into yours no matter how far apart you are. She loves to play and is a love bug.

Adopted

♡ Amberlina-Istanbul

Almost a twin to kitten Sunshine, she is such a soft little kitten, very chilled out, and inquisitive. She adores humans, is fascinated by everything, and is the easiest-going kitten in the litter, not to mention super gorgeous and special. Rescued from a street fate during the terrible storms at the age of eight weeks.

♡ Tom

Hello, precious Tom. He is an affectionate and grateful boy. Found on the street and already picked up by the municipality and brought to the shelter before he went into care. Once in the clinic, it became known that he had several serious bone fractures that were inoperable and caused his paralysis. After a lot of rest in a small space and several operations (amputating his tail and reconstructing the urinary tract), this boy is almost as good as new again. He enjoys running after you and bunting upon you. He can walk again, sometimes a little wobbly, but if you know how it was at first, this is mega great. He is using the toilet properly and no longer has difficulty urinating. Lying on the couch next to you or enjoying the sunshine, those little things are the things he loves. Tom clearly got a second chance and enjoys all the little things in life because of this. He is grateful, and he likes to show that. What a brave soldier. He is seven years old, has good health, and would be so happy to have his own family, good with kids, dogs, and enclosed space, and love is what this little guy needs. Tom is ready for travel ♡.

♡ Carly

Meet sweet, gentle Carly. Carly has a sad history. His previous owner passed away, and the family was not able to take him home. This is the reason he is living in care now. Carly is a very sweet boy who loves to get attention and cuddles. He’s used to living in a multi-cat household, but he prefers to be with fewer cats or alone. He is a master at opening doors, so he will get access to every room he fancies! Once he looks at you with his beautiful eyes, you’re sold, believe me. He is a very handsome young man. Carly is two years old, male, in good health, and has a very sweet nature. He is okay with older children from around ten years old. He has been sterilized and is most suitable for a balcony, indoor family, or enclosed garden space.

♡ Upsy

Meet lovely Upsy, a pure white female the size of a large kitten, estimated to be around 11-15 months old. This precious soul was dumped when she was about to deliver her babies! It’s not a rare thing in Turkey, which is so horrible to imagine. Since then, she has delivered her four kittens safely and was sterilized. She is still adapting to apartment life, with no problem using the litter box, but she would be better with access to the outdoors. She is affectionate but can react impulsively when scared, so no young children. She is a delight to any family, especially as trust grows and love and magic happen.

♡ Indy

Indy is a very sweet and affectionate girl. She loves to sleep in the sun and demand your attention in order to be cuddled. She was brought to the vet with a broken hind leg that unfortunately had to be amputated. There was no place for her anywhere, and going back to the street wasn’t an option either. Her little face resembles that of “Felix the cat”. Indy loves to sit on your chest and purr with pleasure. Despite missing one leg, she is still very fast. When walking, it’s noticeable because she hops, but when she runs, she’s like a tornado through the room. Indy is travel-ready and would be a gorgeous addition to any family ♡.

♡ Ti-Cha

Meet Ti-cha the Great, our one-eyed Houdini of the family. He comes from a rescue in central Istanbul, one of the worst places for animals. The street hero Cecile has been supporting him ever since, and he’s a guest at Olmsteads H.O.P.E. He’s a very intelligent boy, almost with a spoiled attitude. He knows what he wants, and it’s to be outside in the fresh air; an enclosed garden would be best. He can escape in a breath, climb walls, and slither through any fence like liquid. He loves one-on-one time with his own human and definitely will not settle with more than one other cat. With a strong personality, lots of love, and freedom, Ti-cha is ready for his forever home. His passport is ready. Are you his special one? ♡

♡ Zola

Little kitten Zola is a tabby female at ten weeks old. Zola is one of Upsy’s kittens (see the other post for Upsy). She was born in an apartment, so she’s a house cat, litter-trained, and on solid food. Zola is a little Turkish beauty, sweet and playful, with a calm and cuddly personality. She’s perfect for a family with another cat and/or children to keep her company. Sweetheart Zola is one of the lucky ones, safe and loved, looking for her new family. Do you want to be her new mommy and daddy? She’s waiting for you!

♡ Volt

Meet baby Volt, a beautiful male kitty at ten weeks old and another of Upsy’s kittens (see other posts for Upsy). Volt was born in an apartment; he’s litter-trained and on solid food. He is very energetic and playful, loving to run around chasing toys and playing with his brothers and sisters. He is also a purring machine and would roll at your feet for cuddles in between two games. Volt needs stimulation if there is no other cat and is perfect for families with children. Ready and waiting for fun with his very own humans, this Turkish delight will purr up a mini tornado for you! Get in touch for our baby Volt.
