Leyla – Mother of the street Animals
This incredible lady, Leyla, has been an animal angel for many years. Her day starts at 7 am cooking food for street animals, caring for 150-200 each day. She is out all hours on rescue and clinic runs; she is the mother of the animals where she lives. It’s absolutely impossible to carry on. We have street heroes, small groups of people, not big teams or organizations. There are no days off, sick pay, holidays, or bonuses. It really is insane to think what we do. The government helps to a certain degree, but seriously, the situation with them is catastrophic. They’re collecting animals off the street and throwing them inside. Leyla is part of the animal organizations that speak up for them, advocating for their welfare. There have been so many disgusting crimes against animals. One recent incident involved a cat tortured and kicked continuously. Many good people and rescuers turned up in the courtroom where this evil man was, but there was no justice, there never is.
The worst part is the minds of these individuals, and the kids they bring into the world with the same mentality. It’s okay to torture them. Please help us support this amazing individual. With health issues and pain from back injuries, we need support. I just don’t know how we can stretch any further. We are individuals that care, wanting to make a difference; we are not rich or a charity. Please help us in this evil conquest against evil.
